Postform Laminate Countertops are made by applying laminate to a particle board substrate with specifically formed edges and backsplash that the laminate can be rolled over to create a single, unbroken laminate face.
Due to the nature of laminate as a single sheet of material, these rolls may be formed in only one direction on a given sheet, leading to long, directional pieces of unfinished countertop called blanks.
Fabricators Unlimited purchases the majority of our blanks from VT Industries in Iowa. Some laminate colors are kept in stock in specific sizes, while other non-stock colors and sizes are ordered from VT Industries on an as-needed basis.
Non-Stock color Postform Laminate Countertops are sold by the Blank. The minimum order is 8', 10' or 12' blank.
