Solid Surface Care
Protecting your Countertop:• Do not place hot items directly on solid surface countertops. Use a trivet or other
protective surface under pots/pans, waffle irons, curling irons, clothing irons, etc.
• Do not use knives or other sharp utensils that may slice or scratch the surface.
Use a cutting board for chopping and slicing.
• Do not slide abrasive items (such as ceramics) across the surface. Use a
place mat or protective surface underneath these items.
Caring for your Countertop:
• For most dirt and residue, use a clean, damp non-abrasive cloth with an ammonia
based cleaner (not window cleaner), rinse and wipe completely dry.
• For stuck-on residue, place a hot damp sponge on top of the spot leave it for
10 to 20 minutes to allow the steam and moisture from the sponge to release
the spot from the surface of the countertop.
• For difficult residue, spray with cleaner, wait for about 30 seconds. Then wipe
area with paper towel. If necessary wash area with soapy water, rinse and wipe
completely dry.
